Hello ladies!

I have watched lately a new video about How to Use Oatmeal for the Hair, by (ehowbeauty) channel on You Tube. The title was somehow weird for me, but I was curious to watch it and know how to use oatmeal for DIY hair treatments. The idea was so simple, and can easily be done at your own kitchen.

First, let me tell you a little about oatmeal benefits for skin and hair:

1) Oatmeal is a great source of fiber. Fiber of oatmeal balances cholesterol levels, which help protect you from heart diseases.

2)Excellent source for omega-3 fatty acids, which are known good for your joints, skin, vision, brain, heart, helps lower bad cholesterol levels ,fights wrinkles and an controls acne.

3) Oatmeal also helps reduce harmful cholesterol levels and it may boost the immune system.

4) Fats in oatmeal acts as a great moisturizer for skin just like avocado’s fats.

5) Oatmeal is a natural moisturizer for hair; it also cleans dandruff problems and makes the hair soft and strong.

These are only few of oatmeal benefits for your body, and this is a very good reason why you should add oatmeal to your diet, skin and to your hair, too!

I hope you enjoy watching this video, try this hair mask, and tell me about it!

Have something to add?  Tell us in the comments :)

I don’t know about this one, Dima! You try it first, lol ;) A little too much work for me, plus I would have to buy the almond milk and the sweet almond oil (tho’ I would like some almond oil but don’t know where to buy it). PS What are the HTML tags & attributes below for?? How do I use them?

That’s funny! I think they sell almond milk in stores like Whole Foods and health food stores in the U.S. probably also the sweet almond oil.

Thanks for the info on the HTML. At some point, I may email you about backlinks. My google organic visits are down, perhaps due to the new algorithm, and I need to figure out how to see all my backlinks and then try to get rid of many of them. Do you know about this?

I enjoy eating oatmeal but never thought about putting it in my hair before. I always like to try something once to see if it works so will add this to my list.

It has protein and other ingridients to help skin and hair, Protein is the building block of hair. Hair is 88 percent protein. Protein will give the shaft of your hair more strength, and will reduce the probability of damage.
