5 Natural Skin Care Products You Should Try

28/11/2013 //  by Dima Al Mahsiri//  6 Comments

When it comes to shopping skin care products, I always end up buying things I was not planning to buy, and forgetting what I went shopping for! The huge variety of products always makes me feel dizzy; even when I try to avoid big shops. With the huge variety of products, it is a big challenge for most of us to choose the best skin care product.

Natural skin care products

Therefore, I had to do something about that. And I came up  with a pretty small but very valuable list of natural skin care products, some of which are paraben free, others include my favorite ingredient ” Shea Butter” as the main ingredient, and some of which are multi-task, thus saving money, Yuppie!

So let us get started…….

My list of natural skin care products :

1. Skin Savior Waterless Multi-Balm by One Love Organics

I call this product ” One for all“, and it really is!

According to One Love Organics, this balm can be used for cleansing, moisturizing, hair conditioning, and creamy customizable colors when blended with mineral powder foundation and lip colors, isn’t that great !

2. L’Occitane Pure Shea Butter

There is nothing compared to shea butter for dry skin in winter. And this pure shea butter is one from a good reputation skin care brands that you can trust.

3. Baby Foot Easy Pack

This foot exfoliate product that will naturally peel the dead skin cells off your feet, leaving your feet as soft as a baby’s foot. It can be used by anyone that has dry, cracked, rough, smelly feet problems.

4. Bayberry Naturals

This natural brand gives you a wide variety of skin care products such as Shower Gel Aloe & Shea Herbal , Lavender Chamomile Shower Gel , Lavender Bar Soap , Oatmeal Spice Bar Soap. In addition to Turmeric & Citrus Clarifying Body Scrub.

5. Nail Polish Remover Pads Acetone-Free, 20 Count by La Fresh Eco Beauty

Acetone is known for making your nails dry, and this product is perfect for those who love to polish their nails and take a good care of them. This product cleans and conditions your nails moisturizes with aloe, glycerin and vitamin E. (Note: Paraben-free, acetone-free).

It is now your turn to tell us about your favorite natural skin care products. So, what is your favorite product? Have you ever tried any of those listed above, did you like it? Let me hear from you!

I’m not familiar with One Love Organics, but I’ll check it out, Dima. Sounds very interesting! I just bought a jar of coconut oil and a bottle of Sweet Almond Oil. I bought them at Whole Foods, the organic food supermarket chain in the U.S. I have tried using the coconut oil as a lip and skin moisturizer. The waxy solid coconut oil immediately becomes a liquid from the heat of my hands, and it is easy to apply. It’s very moisturizing, in the beginning. Unfortunately, I have such dry skin that the moisturizing effect does not last long enough. But I think for someone who is quite young or who does not have very dry skin, it would be fine. I will also use it for cooking, as it is a healthy cooking oil. The sweet almond oil is very nice. I will make some DIY beauty products with it and the coconut oil, but in the meantime, I use it at night on my eyelashes!

    Hi Allison,

I got to know about One Love Organics through Dr Oz Newsletter, and Yes! it sounds interesting. Unfortunately, I can’t order it, maybe you can order one, and write an honest review about it, as you usually do 🙂
I will stick to my shea butter cream this winter, it is doing great for my dry skin, along with mild exfoliation.
Allison, I believe if you exfoliate your skin with a mild exfoliator before applying coconut oil, would be better for your dry skin.
