12 Natural Ways to Get Rid of Acne (Infographic)

28/06/2014 //  by Dima Al Mahsiri//  8 Comments

There are many ways to fight acne, but not all acne treatments are natural and free of side-effects. If you want to treat acne and prevent pimples from occurring in the future, natural remedies are the best way to go.
Today’s infographic is from Holistic Saffron. It includes 12 very interesting natural remedies for treating acne.

1. Honey

Honey is known for being a well known anti-bacterial agent that is great for curing acne either alone or combined with other ingredients. Here you will find more detailes about remedies for curing acne using honey.

2.Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is similar to honey; it has strong anti-bacterial properties which makes it suitable for fighting bacteria that causes acne.

3. Tea Tree Oil

I am currently using a new cream that contains tea tree oil as a main ingredient, and I was surprised by the effective and fast results I achieved using this cream. There will be a full detailed review for this cream in the near future, so stay tuned!

4.Lavender

Lavender is one of my favorite scents. It is refreshing, reminds me of spring and gives a nice refreshing touch in my house. It happens that this oil is perfect for curing acne, all you need is a drop of this oil on the affected area.

5.Mustard

Ok, we are not preparing sandwiches for dinner now! This time we are using mustard for curing acne since it contains salicylic acid; number one ingredient in most acne treatments (check the recipe in the infographic below).

6.Garlic

7.Apple Cider Vinegar

8.Cinnamon

9. Blackstrap Molasses

Molasses is a thick syrup produced when the sugar cane plant is processed to make refined sugar for mass consumption. Since it contains zinc, it is also used for acne treatments.

10.Basil

11. Parsley

12.Tomato

Natural and mostly found in your kitchen, those ingredients can save your skin from acne and save you money, too. Here is the infographic with some easy yet effective remedies for acne treatment.
