Full Anti-aging Regimen: Radha Beauty Skincare

Published by

I guess February is the month of retinol here on Tips for Natural beauty! This time, it is a full skincare beauty routine by Radha Beauty. As always, I stopped using other skincare products and used Radha’s products for a full month. Radha Beauty sent me Intensive Youth Eye Gel, vitamin C serum, and Miracle retinol moisturizer. It was all I need to maintain a good skin care routine!

I noticed that all Radha’s Beauty products are rated 4.5-5 stars on Amazon.com, which is great . It was obvious that this company is trying to maintain good customer satisfaction. A young Indian woman who admires natural beauty products established Radha in 2014. In addition to skincare products, there are 100% organic, and natural oils like argan oil and lavender oil.

So, let’s get started!

Radha Vitamin C Serum

Starting with the Radha vitamin C serum, it has a thin consistency, and my skin absorbs it quickly. I like the airtight pump package that preserves the sensitive ingredients from air and light.

Vitamin C serum is essential in any skincare routine as it stimulates the production of collagen, fades age spots, and gives your skin a natural glow.

In addition to vitamin C, there is also vitamin E and vegan hyaluronic acid that is perfect for moisturizing your skin. This serum helped to keep my skin moisturized, and reduced dryness that occurs when using a retinol moisturizer.

Full ingredients list include (98% Natural & 72% Organic ingredients):

Organic Herbal Infusion, Aloe, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), MSM, botanical hyaluronic acid, Witch Hazel, d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Carbomer, Amino Complex, Ferulic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Jojoba Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

Radha Intensive Youth Eye Gel

The second product to apply is the eye gel. This eye gel smells like cucumber, a light refreshing scent that disappears quickly. As I apply it around my eyes, it gives a tight feeling due to the Matrixyl 3000. It also moisturizes the delicate area around my eyes thanks to the hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. I found that I needed a light eye cream on top of it to prevent cakey look, some might not need it, I think it depends on the kind of concealer your use.

Full ingredients list include:

Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe, Matrixyl 3000, Palmitoyl Triepeptide-3, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Plant Stem Cells, Cucumber Hydrosol, Organic Jojoba Oil, Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, MSM, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Silk Amino Acid Blend (Sodium L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylate, Sodium Lactate, L’Arginine, L-Aspartic Acid, L-Pyrrolidonecarboxylic Acid, Glycine, L-Alanine, L-Serine, L-Valine, L-Proline, L-threonine, L-Isoleucine, L-Histidine, L-Phenylalanine), Wildcrafted Periwinkle, Organic Licorice, Wildcrafted Eye Bright, Wildcrafted Reishi, Organic Gotu Kola, Frankincense, Vitamin E, Sodium Benzoate, Potassi-um Sorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

When waking up in the morning, I could tell if I applied the eye gel at night or not. When I did not, my eyes would be suffering from puffiness, and I would look tired for an hour after waking up. I also noticed that Radha’s eye gel slightly lightened the dark circles around my eyes after using it for a full month. Radha mentioned that you can use their eye gel for the entire face, well; I did not as I prefer a cream moisturizer.

Radha Beauty Miracle Retinol (2.5%) Moisturizer

After my skin absorbs the vitamin C serum completely, I apply the retinol moisturizer. The bottle indicates that you can use it in the morning and night, just make sure to use a sunscreen when using it in the daylight. Retinol is not for all, so make sure you read my full guide about retinol here before using one.

This retinol moisturizer uses a 2.5% active retinol. I used a 1% retinol moisturizer before so I was ready to try this one!

My top skin concerns are large pores, age spots, and fine lines. Using this retinol moisturizer, I was hoping to see an improvement in my skin texture and tone; the great long-term results for using retinol.

In addition to vitamin E (Tocopheryl) and green tea, it contains Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Sunflower Oil, Palm Oil, Pentylene Glycol, Phospholipids, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Phosphate, Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide, Glyceryl Stearate,Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Jojoba Oil, Propolis, Shea Butter, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid.

My Over All Experience

Using Radha’s products for a full month, I found that Radha’s vitamin C serum is a good option for those who would like to take a good care of their skin, provide anti-oxidants to their skin, and reduce the damage caused by free radicals. It did not dry my skin, and my skin absorbed it quickly. I simply liked it!

Though I prefer creams for the area around my eyes, Radha Beauty Eye Gel was a useful product for sweeping away the appearance of tired eyes after staying awake for after midnight. It tightens the area well, and it reduced eye puffiness significantly. It is just I needed a light cream on top of it to prevent my concealer from settling in the fine lines.

Radha’s Miracle retinol moisturizer was also a good product to try; my skin absorbs it quickly, no greasy feeling, no oily skin, and it is a good makeup base. I did not notice a visible reduction in the appearance of my fine lines, but just remember; dry skin is more wrinkled, try to skip moisturizer for few days and you will know what I mean 😉

I like the packaging and performance of Radha’s products, which form a good skincare routine for all skin types especially my combination skin at an affordable price. They are also not tested on animals. For more details about Radha’s products, check them here.

*Though the brand sent me this product for review, all opinions are my own, and completely based on my own experience.

  • I do like eye gels, even though creams feel so good, because gels help me avoid developing milia, those little white bumps. I am on the lookout for some retinol products so I will have to remember these!

    • Retinol is good for your skin, Allison.
You can use it at night if you think it may irritate your skin.
My mother started using retinol 2 weeks ago, and her skin is now smooth and more toned. I think that every 30+ woman should consider using retinol. I like Radha's products, they are well packed and works quite well.

    • Like Allison I also started getting some little white bumps, which I thought were hereditary - but they've actually reduced since I went on a makeup diet a year ago.

I'm wondering if either of you have managed to avoid them completely or get rid of them?
