Swiss Botany Moroccan Argan Oil Review

Swiss Botany Moroccan Argan Oil Review

Almost a year ago, I received organic argan oil as a gift from Morocco. Since then, I have been using argan oil for nearly all hair problems including dandruff, dry hair, and frizzy hair. I also used it for making my own whipped shea butter. Argan oil is one of the best gifts I have ever received!

When I had the chance to try Moroccan argan oil from Swiss Botany, I could not say No! I was very happy to receive an extra bottle of this golden magic oil 🙂

Argan oil is a great anti-oxidant that you can only find in Morocco. The best high quality is cold pressed to maintain the healing power of this oil. Cold pressing is what sits the difference between high quality and low-quality argan oil.

Why Should You Add Argan Oil to Your Beauty Routine?

It has many amazing benefits for your hair, skin, and your whole health, these benefits include:

  • Rich in vitamins A, and E; two anti-oxidants that help moisturize your skin, and promote the formation of new skin cells, giving your skin a younger look.
  • Argan oil contains linoleic acid, which helps reduce inflammation caused by acne.
  • Argan oil is perfect, and non-greasy treatment for your hair.

Swiss Botany Moroccan Argan Oil Review

Here is what Swiss Botany has to say about their 100% organic pure argan oil:

“Multi-tasking Triple Extra Virgin Organic Argan Oil deeply moisturizes and rejuvenates skin to help combat the effects of aging and the environment. Helps to reduce fine lines and promote soft smooth and supple skin with a youthful glow. Fast absorbing, non-greasy, detangling formula also smoothes and softens damaged hair as it tames frizz and fly-aways, imparting incredible shine and styling control. Perfect for all hair and skin types.”

I have been using this argan oil to tame frizz and fly-aways. It also protects my hair from the heat of hair dryers and gives my hair a healthy shine. The good thing is that you only need a few drops to condition your frizzy hair. You can also leave it on for the whole night. Warm about 4-10 drops of argan oil, depending on the length of your hair, massage your scalp, and work your fingers all through your hair towards the ends. Place a shower cap, leave it on for the next day, and then wash your hair as normal.

You can also use argan oil to make DIY exfoliator by mixing one tablespoon of brown sugar with a few drops of argan oil. Use this to massage your face (and neck) for about 2-4 minutes then rinse with warm water and pat dry. You can use this exfoliator for your whole body, like dry elbows and heels. It removes dry skin and moisturizes your skin.

My Overall Experience

Swiss Botany Moroccan argan oil is 100% pure, and organic argan oil that is perfect for your skin and hair. When compared to organ oil bottle I received from Morocco, both have the same nutty smell, same density, it is just that Swiss Botany argan oil’s color is a little bit lighter.

I have been using it as a leave-in treatment to help stop frizzy hair, 2 drops are more than enough; I apply to my hair while it is wet using my fingers. Not to mention as a hair mask, and on my face before going to bed. I really love it, so if you cannot get argan oil from Morocco, Swiss Botany argan oil is a great option. Moreover, argan oil is well preserved in an opaque dark brown dropper, thus you don’t have to worry about losing its power by time.

Swiss Botany argan oil is available on their website and Amazon. You can also check their full range of products by visiting their website.

*Though the brand sent me this product for review, all opinions are my own, and completely based on my own experience.

I love argan oil too. In addition to my skin and hair, I put a drop on each of my nails and it helped them this cold winter!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful post. I am also using Ayelli Argan Oil and it gives me very good results. I don’t have any idea that we can use Argan Oil on nails also. I am again thank you for this information.
