LashIQ Natural Eyelash Enhancing Serum Review

01/07/2015 //  by Dima Al Mahsiri//  6 Comments

LashIQ Natural Eyelash Enhancing Serum Review

I have been using vitamin C serum on my face for more than a year now. Vitamin C serum has been providing my skin with antioxidants for natural glow and anti-aging effect. My skin is now more radiant, not dull anymore, and has less fine lines.

For most of my life, I had long, full, black eyelashes. Now that I am almost 40, my lashes have started to thin, and it could be great to use a serum for my eyelashes that could help add volume and length to them.

I am not a huge fan of makeup, including mascaras, that is why I prefer long full lashes naturally. False lashes would also be a bad idea, because I do not know how to put them on!

Thankfully, Nexgen offered me their LashIQ Natural Eyelash Enhancing Serum for review. I was so happy to try it out, as I mentioned before, I LOVE serums!

I noticed that one of the very first ingredients is biotin. I have used biotin for months before for my hair, and it gave extremely wonderful results, read more about biotin for hair here.

Here is what you will find in LashIQ serum:
Aqua (Deionized Water), Glycerin, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Cyclomethicone, Bis-Vinyl Dimethicone Copolymer, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Biotin, dl-Panthenol, Pumpkin Seed Extract, Vitamin B-12, Allantoin, Vitamin B6, Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, Steareth-20, Dipeptide-2, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Polysorbate-20, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Retinyl Palmitate, Pomegranate Extract, Cucumber Fruit Extract, White Tea Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

LashIQ says that you can use LashIQ Eyelash Enhancer for fuller, thicker, and healthier eyelashes and/or bolder brows. I already have very bold black brows, so I decided to use it for my eyelashes.

I liked how simple it is to use this serum; it needs only once daily usage in the evening before bedtime. The wand looks like an eyeliner brush, and you apply it just as you apply eyeliner. You will need to apply the serum close to your eyelashes base though.

If you apply eyeliner frequently, you will master the application of this serum. It took me few applications to get used to applying it.

When applying, I noticed how watery the consistency of the serum is. That is why I tried not to drop any in my eyes; especially that one could be sleepy and may drop serum in the eye. I once did by accident, my eyes turned red, and I had to wash them with cool water. Other than that, and during 4 weeks of usage, I did not have any side effects, or eye irritation.

I had to wait for 4 weeks to see visible results. My eyelashes did not increase in length, but I noticed that my eyelashes are now thicker and fuller. In the photo below, you can see how this serum improved my eyelashes’ thickness.

My Overall Experience

I like the fact that LashIQ eyelash enhancer has No Sulfates, no Parabens, and no chemical preservatives.

LashIQ promises that it will increase eyelash density up to 82% in just 4 weeks. I used it for 4 weeks, once every day, and I can tell that it works, though not by 82% as mentioned in my case, still I got good results.

In addition, my eyelash length increased slightly, the image above might not show that, but in reality, there is a slight increase.

I love how LashIQ Eyelash Enhancer works, and will continue using it. If you would like to get fuller longer eyelashes, you can buy your own at Amazon.com.

*Though the brand sent me this product for review, all opinions are my own, and completely based on my own experience.

Very good results! If I didn’t have problems with my eyes and the skin around my eyes, I’d try this in a heartbeat!!

      You are right, Allison!
This serum could be irritating for very dry skin. Having sensitive skin around your eyes, you need to use it with caution.
