CherylLeeMD® Sensitive Skin Care | Rejuvenation Package Review

CherylLeeMD® Sensitive Skin Care | Rejuvenation Package Review

“There is No cure for eczema”, this is sad, but true!

If you suffer from dry or eczema-prone skin, then your skin needs extra care. Extra care starts with a great moisturizer made especially for sensitive skin like yours.

My hands are dry most of the time, I tried out many lotions and creams, but I could not find that one that cures the tiny painful cuts that appear when eczema flares up.

Just when my hands started to crack, due to extra housework, CherylLeeMD® offered me their Rejuvenation Package for review. Just on time 🙂

Dr. Eberting, the founder of CherylLeeMD® Sensitive Skin Care, is a board-certified dermatologist.  Dr. Eberting developed the TrueLipids line of products that target mainly those who suffer from acne, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis and the aging face.

This is how CherylLeeMD® describes their Rejuvenation Package ($119.97):

I received Rejuvenation package that includes:

• TrueLipids TrueTherapy Ceramide+ Cream

• TrueLipids Hydrate, Correct & Perfect Lotion

• TrueLipids TrueLips Lip Balm

In order to test if these products does work or not, I put away other lotions and creams for 4 days before I started to use the Rejuvenation package by CherylLeeMD®. That was very hard, especially that my hands and face are extremely dry these days, cracks started to appear on poor hands.

Did these products work? Keep on reading to find out!

TrueLipids TrueTherapy Ceramide+ Cream

TrueLipids TrueTherapy Ceramide+ Cream

I found that the key for eliminating symptoms of eczema is to deeply moisturize my skin. My hands get dry fast, and if I do not act fast, they start to itch, crack, and inflammations appear where there are cracks. This is so painful especially when cooking and I have to squeeze lemon juice for example. The acidic juice of lemon burns my hands, and washing my hands does not help at all. Shea butter has helped me a lot in such situations, but since it is greasy, it is not easy to cook, use my smart phone, or my laptop with greasy hands.

TrueLipids TrueTherapy Ceramide+ Cream ($49.99) is a thick cream that takes few minutes to be absorbed. At first I needed a decent amount to moisturize my very dry hands, but few days later, my hands got better, and I needed less amount, especially after tiny cuts in my hands disappeared.

There are three types of lipids found in the outer layer of your skin: fatty acids, cholesterol, and ceramides. These lipids combine to form a tight seal or layer around the skin’s cells, to hold water inside [Source]. Dry skin means that your skin lost those lipids.

My hands are in a good condition now ( after only 4 days of using this cream) …

When I applied it to my face, it made my combination skin look oily. So I decided to use it only for my hands. If your face is very dry, I believe this cream will be very helpful then.

Ingredients:

Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Coconut), Petrolatum, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Polyglyceryl -10 Pentastearate, Behenyl Alcohol, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Isostearyl Isostearate, Cetyl Alcohol, 1,3 Propanediol (from Corn), C10-30 Cholesterol/Lanosterol Esters, Ceramide 3, Phytosphingosine, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Niacinamide, Glycyrrhetinic Acid (Licorice Root), 1,2 -Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Gluconolactone.

TrueLipids Hydrate, Correct & Perfect Lotion

This light lotion is supposed to hydrate your skin, correct PH levels on your skin, i.e. reducing irritation, and brighten and rejuvenate your skin, especially for those who have sensitive skin.

TrueLipids Hydrate, Correct & Perfect Lotion

I like how TrueLipids Hydrate, Correct & Perfect Lotion ($49.99) is a multi-tasking product:

  • I used it twice a day. I have combination skin, large pores, and age spots. This lotion evens my complexion, and is a great moisturizer in hot summer days, and under makeup; my skin absorbs it fast, no oily skin afterwards.
  • My 8 years old son suffers from eczema on his face from now and then; his cheeks turns red, itchy, and very dry. I applied this lotion onto his face for a week; redness and itch disappeared in 3 days, and cured his cheeks in 5 days.

TrueLipids TrueLips Lip Balm

TrueLipids TrueLips Lip Balm

This balm is the product that made a dramatic change in my skincare routine. My lips gets irritated when using lip balms that contain fragrance, even essential oils irritate my lips, so rather than moisturizing my lips, such balms dries them.

For someone with chapped, cracked, and peeling lips, I tried many things including exfoliating my lips using sugar and honey scrub, which is so good, and applying shea butter frequently throughout the day, which is also very useful. But since shea butter causes my lipstick to feather (even when using a lip liner), it is not the perfect solution.

TrueLipids TrueLips Lip Balm ($19.99) cured my lips without causing my lipstick to feather. I like how practical it is to apply it, and it is now one of my purse essentials.
