7 Natural and Simple Ways to Rejuvenate Your Skin

14/01/2018 //  by Dima Al Mahsiri//  2 Comments

Clear, flawless, beautiful, and healthy looking skin is something we all desire, regardless of age or gender. Unfortunately, in today’s modern world where we are surrounded by pollution, stress and a lack of time to take care of our skin and bodies, it can be challenging to maintain our skin looking fresh, supple and vibrant.

Many people rely on very expensive creams, toners, and lotions to use on their skin, but here are seven natural, cost-effective ways that can rejuvenate your skin, right in the comfort of your own home, without having to fork out hundreds!

Beuatiful skin naturally

#1 Massage Your Skin with Coconut Oil

Lightly massaging your face with slightly warmed Raw Organic Coconut Oil every evening before bedtime helps your skin stay hydrated, soft and rejuvenated. Leave the Coconut Oil on your face while you are asleep, and repeat this routine every day for naturally supple, hydrated skin every day. This remedy is most useful during winter when skin tends to dry out due to low humidity in the air.

#2 Stay Well Hydrated With Fruit Infused Water

We all know that water is essential in maintaining healthy skin, but did you know that adding or infusing fruit into your water with the help of a fruit infuser water bottle could keep you both well hydrated and up your antioxidant intake as well? Antioxidants in fruit water fight off the aging process, helping you feel younger, healthier and will keep your skin feeling softer than ever.

#3 Limit Sun Exposure and Use Sunscreen

A small, healthy amount of sunlight a day is essential in keeping your Vitamin D levels up, that is for sure! But do remember that excessive amounts of sun exposure will damage and age your skin, especially so if you are light skinned. Remember always to use good quality sunscreen that has Zinc or Titanium Dioxide in it for extra protection.

#4 Eat Healthy Fats

Fat is not your foe, not when it is healthy. Nourishing foods that contain healthy fats such as Avocados, Flaxseed, Olive Oil, Nuts, and Fish are essential in anyone’s diet if you are trying to keep your skin looking youthful and rejuvenated. The fatty acids in these foods are crucial in keeping skin looking supple, healthy, and fresh.

#5 Avoid Unhealthy Processed Sugars

Studies have shown that consuming too much-processed sugar can make skin dull and wrinkled. Sugar has been proven to damage collagen and elastin in the skin, which causes sagging and wrinkles to appear. Skin ends up looking less supple, and in turn, less youthful. Stay away from too processed sugar or cut out unhealthy sources of sweetness in your diet and watch your skin heal itself and rejuvenate on its own!

#6 Vitamin C Is Your Friend

Load up on that Vitamin C if you want beautiful, healthy skin. Vitamin C is an essential component in the body’s production of collagen and a potent antioxidant that can help rejuvenate aged and photodamaged skin. A great way to incorporate more Vitamin C into your diet is to fill your plate with Capsicums, Dark Leafy Greens, Broccoli, and Berries.

#7 Finally, A Good Night’s Sleep Cures All!

Your skin naturally rejuvenates and repairs itself mostly when you are asleep. During sleep, the body restores natural energy and rebuilds your tissues and cells, including the ones found in the skin. Without appropriate amounts of rest, these cells and tissues begin to fade, leaving the face with dark under eye circles, lines, and wrinkles. Make sure you are getting at least 7-8 hours of quality rest every night, and watch your skin heal itself.

With these natural remedies and tips in mind, you are on your way to beautiful, fresh, and perfectly rejuvenated skin. Remember, there is no need to splash out on fancy cosmetics and creams to keep your skin looking vibrant and sprightly – all you need comes from Mother Nature herself.

These are great tips! Most of us do not realize the adverse effects of consuming processed sugar Because the sugar industry is huge and powerful, they sponsor such articles which say that natural sugar is not better than processed sugar.
