6 Beauty Must Haves for My Trip to London

04/11/2016 //  by Dima Al Mahsiri//  5 Comments

As you read this post, I will be probably trying to find my way in the crowded famous Oxford Street in London!

Make sure to follow me on Instagram for live photos from the heart of London!

I mentioned in an earlier post that my sister is going to marry soon, and I am honored to be the bridesmaid!

On Saturday morning, I will leave to London to attend my sister’s wedding, and of course, get the chance to take a tour around London’s famous attractions.

Today’s post is inspired by my trip to London. I am going to share with you what I will be packing in my bag, including skincare and hair care products that I love.

When I choose what to pack in my bag for traveling, I always keep in mind the following:

  1. I choose spray toners and creams in a pump airtight container.
  2. I prefer skin care kits that are designed to work in harmony for beautifying my skin.
  3. Pack in sample sized containers, or containers of 100ml or less.
  4. Keep it simple, and only pack what I really need for your journey.

6 Beauty Must Haves for My Trip to London

#1 Azure Naturals Ultimate Ocean Mineral Skincare Kit

Azure Naturals is one of the very first brands I have reviewed, and I have tried out a few of their products including the Azure Naturals Vitamin C Skin Repair Serum, Azure Naturals Vitamin C Kit, and Azure Naturals Ocean Mineral kit.

The Ocean Mineral kit is my favorite skincare kit for winter. It is going to be very cold in London, so I will need an extra care for my combination skin.

The cleanser combines tea tree oil for treating acne, the toner and the moisturizer both contain aloe vera for moisturizing my dry cheeks, and the Seaweed Hydration mask (my favorite) provide hydration as my skin tends to dry in cold weather.

So, this kit has it all for protecting my skin from the cold weather of London.

#2 Vibrance Vitamin C Anti-aging Serum from Mistaya Skincare

There are so many vitamin C serums in the market. What makes Mistaya vitamin C serum stands among them is the gel consistency.

Most serums are liquidy, and when I am traveling, I prefer to take gels and creams rather than liquid skincare whenever possible.

Mistaya vitamin C serum does not dry my face; I think it is perfect for dry and premature skin since it moisturizes the skin and absorbs quickly. It also works perfectly under my makeup.

With its airtight pump packaging and pleasant citrus fragrance, it is always my number one choice when traveling.

#3 alba Botanica Mineral Sunscreen (SPF 30)

I have not reviewed this sunscreen from alba Botanica yet, but it has been my favorite sunscreen since I bought it this summer.

This sunscreen is a light emollient never leaves my skin greasy, fragrance-free. It has a lotion consistency that my skin absorbs so quickly.

I believe it is the perfect sunscreen for combination and oily skin.

#4 Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant

Free from aluminum, propylene, parabens, and phthalates. This deodorant is a great choice if you are looking for an effective natural deodorant.

#5 KYI Whipped Shea butter Mask

In cold weather, my skin tends to dry fast, and eczema becomes the main problem for me.

I like to make my own whipped shea butter, but I also like to use ready-made, natural shea butter to save time.

KYI Whipped Shea butter contains only a few ingredients, no additives, artificial scents, or coloring. In addition, you may choose from a variety of scents like Orange Mandarin (my favorite), peppermint, unscented and many others.

#6 TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume Reverse System

Thin hair could be a problem when it comes to conditioning your hair since some conditioner may weigh down your hair.

This new system from TRESemme is the opposite; by reversing the traditional hair care routine, you use the conditioner first to soften your hair, then the shampoo washes away weight. The result is smooth but full body hair.

      Thank you, Allison!
I really liked London, though it is much colder and mostly cloudy, I missed the sun when I was there. Still, there are lots of places to visit and explore!
Yes, she is. And that would be a good excuse for visiting London, don’t you think so 😉
