Given today’s lifestyle that is hectic, it is not easy to maintain good hair health. It is also a difficult feat to make your hair grow faster. Sometimes you have to consider resorting to hair growth products that have chemicals and solutions with them. But then, why consider these products when you can opt for natural ways?

There are natural home remedies that help your hair grow faster and these remedies are known to be effective and free of side effects and untoward hair reactions.

These oils are also not just great for effective hair growth but also ideal for treatment of other hair problems such as hair damage, split ends, hair fall, hair loss, and even dandruff. Apart from that, they are easily accessible which means that you can just find them anywhere around your kitchen. Moreover, they are less expensive compared to the over the counter remedies that we are usually accustomed to?

However, you have to take note that these homemade remedies can never come in instant and will take a bit of time and patience especially when you have to do them your own.

Below, you will find the common hair problems and the causes as to why you develop them and the home remedies that work wonders to your hair.

What Causes Hair Problems?

  1. Split ends

The most common hair problem; split ends happen when the protective outermost layer of the hair peels itself, which results in hair damage. Some causes of split ends include using hair products with chemicals from rebonding and hair coloring. Split ends may also result from blow-drying your hair.

  1. Flaky scalp

Having a flaky scalp can be a bit irritating. This hair condition happens when your scalp gets dry and itchy. It also exists as a symptom when you are having scalp psoriasis, eczema, and serious dandruff problems.

  1. Hair fall

Hair fall is one of the most dreaded hair problems and this condition usually occurs when you are physically or emotionally stressed out, you are taking too much Vitamin A supplements, you are lacking protein in your diet, and many other reasons.

  1. Brittle hair

Brittle hair can be a bit of a problem especially because you can’t brush the strands easily. This hair problem happens because of poor nutrition, side effects from medications, and not properly taking care of your hair.

These hair problems can be remedied thanks to the existing natural home remedies, which include the following:

coconut milk

#1 Coconut milk

Coconut milk is great for hair growth purposes. Not only that but also it is a good deep conditioning natural solution. To make a coconut oil, you have to extract a milk of a coconut and rub the oil on your strands or all over your scalp. Keep the oil on your hair overnight and rinse it off with cool water the day after.

#2 Potato juice

Potato juice also promotes hair growth. Apart from that, it gives extra shine to the hair and acts as a natural conditioner as well. To make a potato juice, peel a potato, slice it to pieces, and extract its juice out using a blender. Then you can apply the juice on your scalp and let it stay there for about 10 to 15 minutes and rinse it by using a shampoo afterward.

#3 Egg mask

Egg mask is one of the readily available home remedies for hair growth. It is also one of the easiest to make. What you need to do is crack an egg, take an egg white and put it in a bowl and pour 1 teaspoon of olive oil and honey. Mix them together to create a smooth paste. Finally, you can apply the egg mask on your hair and scalp and let it stay for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, wash your hair with cool water and use a mild shampoo.

green tea

#4 Green Tea

Green tea, which is known for its wonderful benefits to the overall health, is also a good natural hair growth enhancer because it contains an antioxidant called EGCG. EGCG works its magic by stimulating hair growth. What you need to do is just apply green tea on your scalp. Leave it on for about an hour and wash it off.

Hibiscus Flower

#5 Hibiscus Flower

If you want to achieve a healthy hair, then resorting to hibiscus flower is a good idea. It is noted for its work in promoting quick hair growth. To enjoy its benefits, add hibiscus flowers to a coconut oil or sesame oil then apply it on your hair in a uniform amount. Rinse it off using a shampoo and then you’re ready for a healthier hair.

Now you are ready for a faster hair growth. By resorting to these home remedies, you are ready to combat hair problems that may come on your way.
