Inlight Under Eye Revive Review

01/07/2017 //  by Dima Al Mahsiri//  2 Comments

I am blessed by the fact that I do not have puffy eyes, still, my under eye circles are very dark due to allergies. And even though I do my best to keep my delicate skin under my eyes moisturized to minimize darkness, I still need to apply a concealer to hide those dark circles.

One product that I had used for a long time is a light cream. I thought it was the best way to moisturize my under eye skin. It had worked well when I was in my 20’s, but as I grew older, I noticed that it does not work well as it used to. Therefore, I started looking for a rich cream to do the job.

Most of the creams that I tried out were water based creams, and I would have never thought of using an oil-based cream until Lucy Husarkova, the owner of Hug Your Skin, offered to send one of the Inlight skincare products for review.

Inlight Skincare

Inlight Holistic skincare products are all oil-based; the main ingredient is a blend of pure organic, cold-pressed plant oils called the Bio Lipophilic Matrix®.

Inlight Holistic luxury organic skincare was created by Dr. Mariano Spiezia to help women love their skin and enhance their beautiful lives. Handcrafted in the UK, Inlight skincare is a simple, three-step skincare routine; cleanse tone and moisturize skincare regimen.

What is Holistic Skincare?

According to this article, holistic health and beauty perceive the parts of the body, emotions, and the environment as interconnected with an effect on the overall health of the person and, ultimately, the skin.

Holistic skincare includes organic skincare; it means choosing organic, natural products, and keeping your body’s health, the surroundings, and the whole earth in mind.

Inlight’s Under Eye Revive

This is the first time I try an oil-based cream under my eyes. This natural eye cream is certified 100% organic, no chemical preservatives, and cruelty-free.

According to the product’s description, this concentrated eye balm:

  • Deeply moisturizes the delicate skin under your eyes,
  • Minimizes puffiness.
  • A natural treatment for dark circles.
  • It also has pro-collagen ingredients to plump and firm your skin, leaving your skin clear and rejuvenated
  • Concentrated formulas that are oil based (not diluted by water).

How to use?

“Apply a pearl size of product with your ring finger, gently smooth it under each eye from inner to outer corner twice, and then lightly pat in. For best results use morning and evening until you see evidence of decongested and revived under eye area (generally up to 3 weeks), then continue once a day to maintain clear, healthy skin.”

My Thoughts

I have been using the Inlight Under Eye Revive for 3 weeks now.

As this is the first eye balm I try, it took me a while to get used to its oily consistency, and I had to adapt a new routine, like applying it earlier to give my skin the time to absorb the cream. It took a few minutes to be absorbed, but then, I was amazed by how it transformed my skin to a smoother skin and made my under eye fine lines less visible. For the first 2 weeks, I used it day and night then I limited using it as a night treatment.

For the first 2 weeks, I used it day and night then I limited using it as a night treatment. Therefore, the oiliness of this balm was not a big deal afterward.

What I like most is that the effect of this cream remained much longer than light creams. I mean, light creams would make my fine lines less visible for a couple of hours, and then my concealer would start to sink in those fine lines. On the other hand, Under Eye Revive Cream would hide them for hours, which would make my makeup flawless for a longer period.

Remember that moisturized skin would make your fine lines less visible, and vice versa.

The only thing that I did not like is that it makes my skin looks shiny, so if you wish to go makeup free, you will need to dust a little bit of powder under your eyes. It is also in a jar container, but they do include a small spatula to help avoid dipping your fingers in the product.

Now that I apply it at night, and use a light cream in the morning, I still enjoy the benefits of this long-lasting moisturizing eye balm. And though my under eye circles did not vanish due to allergies, I am really satisfied with how my skin is smooth and well moisturized.

Hey Dima, it’s great to be on your blog and trust me you are really doing a great job in the Natural Beauty niche. Please keep it coming! 🙂

You have done justice, really great justice to this review and I feel like getting it for my sweetheart. Recently, I have noticed some spots on her face and I really don’t like it. She’s been worried about it and have been looking at a locale store you to see if she’d get one but it’s been futile…they got nothing for her.

Think to a large extent, I love what I have read about this cream and should get one for her. Do you think this will be in locale stores or is it that I can only order for it online?

I’d love to hear your response about this, Dima, please.

    Thanks.

    Theodore

      Hi Theodore,

Thank you for your kind words!
I believe you can only buy Inight skin care products online.
      Wish your wife the best!
