The Truth That Your Wrinkles Can Tell About You

Every now and then, you can find yourself staring at your face up-close in the mirror using your index finger to lift certain parts of your face. As your finger leaves your lifted skin, reality suddenly sets: you have those dreaded wrinkles!

Don’t panic. Before you let despair sink in, remember all of the laughing, the smiling, and the sunny days at the beach, because believe it or not, they all helped contribute to the current state of your skin. They all tell a memory reflected now on your appearance.

Your face tells the story of your life’s journey, and while you would never wish that journey away, you wish for the measures that can be taken to help your skin look and feel more youthful. After all, a good glow never hurts anyone, not even the most stressed individual.

So what do your wrinkles say about you? Can you look at them and reminisce on the years that have gone by? Do they help you recall the most unforgettable roads you have travelled? Do they remind you of just how hectic your life is? Or are they testaments of a life well lived?

This infographic engagingly illustrates how one’s wrinkles can say so much about a person’s journey. From traces of laughter to signs of overfatigue, it will help you appreciate your own story of joys and tears.

Haha, love that info gram about what your wrinkles say about you! Exercise, moisturizer, sunscreen, and hormones (meaning your own hormones) seem to do the most to keep them at bay for as long as possible. I am trying collagen supplements right now from a company that approached me to review their product. Not sure if it has lessened my wrinkles but it sure has helped my knees that are sore from 30 years of jogging!
