MIRATI Night Cream: Developed With Love

07/01/2015 //  by Dima Al Mahsiri//  2 Comments

 MIRATI Night Cream

As it gets cold in winter, my skin tends to become dry, and sometimes itchy. Though I have combination skin type, it becomes very dry in cold weather. Dry skin means fine lines more visible and less skin elasticity. I try to do my best to keep my skin moisturized, and I succeeded to make my own whipped shea butter, which is great for curing eczema and moisturizing my skin. What I was looking for, is a light cream for night care that does not leave my skin greasy when applying. I hate to go to bed with oily face.

Thankfully, I received MIRATI Night Cream. MIRATI is a cosmetics brand from Slovenia. Their products are made using natural plants from around the world. I like the idea of combining the power of shea butter, aloe vera , ghee, and other ingredients to produce their skin care products. Other products include day cream, hand cream, body wash, face wash, body lotion, and cleansing milk.

What makes MIRATI unique is that it is based on Ghee (clarified butter).

MIRATI Night Cream

Looking at the ingredients, we see the following ingredients:
Aqua, Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis), Propanediol, Ghee, Caprylic Capric Triglycerides, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate,  Glycerin, Glyceryl Monostearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Benzyl Alcohol Dehydroacetic Acid, Xanthan gum, Vitamin E, Shea butter (Vitellaria paradoxa), Honeysuckle essential oil (Lonicera periclymenum).

According to MIRATI official website:

“This Night Cream is a fusion of organic Ghee, organic Aloe vera, organic Shea butter (extracted nut of the African Shea tree Vitellaria paradoxa), vitamin E and Honeysuckleessential oil (flowers and shrub extract ofLonicera periclymenum). This cream will sooth and moisturize your skin while you rest. Its pleasant aroma will help calm your senses.”

The main ingredients in MIRATI Night Cream are:

  • Ghee is perfect for moisturizing and soothing your skin and is rich with antioxidants. It contains beneficial linoleic and lauric acids, and is rich with vitamins A, D, E and K.
  • Aloe Vera is great for helping your skin to maintain the right moisture balance, the plant stimulates blood circulation and tightens and rejuvenates the skin. Aloe vera soothes the skin after sunburn and other irritations, fights bacteria and promotes skin self-healing.
  • Honeysuckle essential oil collected from the shrubs and flowers of the honeysuckle plant known for its magnificent aroma.
  • Shea Butter is known for treating dry skin along with eczema and other skin conditions.

MIRATI Night Cream

If you visit their website, you will see that MIRATI insist on educating their customers about the ingredients they use. In this page, you will find a list of the benefits of all the ingredients used in MIRATI skin care products.

What I like about MIRATI Night Cream

The packaging is a jar that is full of colors. As you open the jar, you smell a light refreshing smell. The scent comes from the essential oil of Honeysuckle flower. This essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties which soothe the skin, while the pleasant smell helps relax the senses before bedtime. It has a light creamy consistency, and I only need a small amount, it moisturizes quite well without leaving any greasy feeling. I noticed that when I wake up, my skin is still moisturized and very soft.

MIRATI Night Cream

 My Overall Experience

MIRATI Night Cream is a light yet effective cream for curing dry skin. It leaves my skin soft and lightly scented. It is made of natural organic ingredients, free from: Parabens, phthalates, SLS, synthetic fragrance, and animal test free.

Whether you have oily to combination skin, or even dry skin, and looking for a moisturizing night cream, I recommend MIRATI night cream for smooth soft skin.

You can buy it through their website here for (24,46 €) that’s about $29 (available in Europe and UK with free shipping). Make sure to follow MIRATI on Facebook and Twitter. You can find more information about shipping by clicking here.

Ghee in a face cream, amazing! I have never heard of that but it sounds great. I hope this brand will show up on Amazon one of these days.
